Nickolucky is a guy who acts like a child, and plays music like there’s no tomorrow. With just an acoustic guitar, he has written numerous songs epitomized by "Don't Waste My Time", with NYC Glam and positive lyrics, that tells us to grab life and not to waste it....We only have one!

Nickolucky got started in a funny way. His earliest memories were the gypsies who used to play music on the tiny old Venetian cobble streets of his hometown in Chania, Crete, an island in the Aegean. He still remembers his mother pulling him away from the street musicians but soon enough Nickolucky got his first acoustic guitar.... quit his job as a physicist (now that’s another long story) and moved to the ultimate melting pot for music, New York City, meeting talented musicians and forming his band Nickolucky.

To understand the true meaning of the name “Nickolucky”, you have to know Greek to get it. In Crete the name is pronounced “Niko”, but it’s common to have friends and family adding the syllable “aki” to refer to something small, or young, or just something cute. So “Nickolucky” is “Nikolaki” spelled in a different way to convey “Lucky Nick”.

Nickolucky has been lucky in his career. He has met many talented up and coming musicians and bands including Lola de Hanna, JaiNori, Jodie Levinson, etc. His influences are wide ranging... If you ask him, he would say laughingly the “wild goats” that roam the mountains of Crete. Bah!!!! Like any rock musician he loves Black Keys, Wilco, Matt Kearney, Led Zeppelin, Bob Marley, etc.
